Today I'm waiting to hear from my doctor's office to see if my endo is advising surgery for sure. From there I may try to seek a second opinion. In the meantime I'm going to equip myself on info on acro. You are all welcome to share any info about it, no matter how small or big.
My endo believes I have acromegaly because of my enlarged pituitary gland and the signs I've been having. There's swelling in my legs, feet, hands, basically everywhere. My face shape has even changed. It's wider and rounder. I've also been lathargic, tiring easily. My endo has suggested surgury. I should do it as soon as possible to stop the signs and symptoms and prevent futher damage this condition can cause. I'm a bit worried of the success rate of these kinds of surgeries. Feel free to share your experiences with this condition with me. I'm willing to do the same.
