I dunno weather the h.pylori is even gone, they sent a sample off to do some tests (at least I think they did, I demanded to talk to the doctor as soon as they put me in the recovery room so I was still pretty much asleep) I'm glad your date got as far as kissing, he must be nice. I'm getting to the stage where I would date someone just for medical information! My mom works in a hosipital though, so she's trying to have a chat with some of her friends about it!

Close Peptic Ulcers
Was just diagnosed with having H. Pylori bacteria and have a pre-ulcer condition called gastritis. Just want to talk to anyone out there who has been diagnosed with helicobacter pylori, or who has gastritis or an ulcer.

I have been having stomach problems for over a yr now. I recently had an upper endoscopy & was told that I have a pre-ulcer condition & gastritis. The Dr said I had redness & inflamation in my stomach, esophagus & duodenum. He also said that I have a bacteria called H.Pylori. Of course, the first thing I did was go online to find out what H.Pylori is & ofcourse, I have scared myself to death. If anybody can give me any info regarding H.Pylori or gastritis, please contact me. Thanks, Karin
