About Me
I have Graves' disease and have experienced varying degrees of Graves' opthalmalopathy symptoms, also. I am trying to work on getting better using diet, vitamins, counseling and exercise. I would love to go into remission, and do not want to have RAI or a Thyroidectomy until after I have given this other approach my very best try.

Treatments
- Methimazole Not Working
- Allergic. Got a head to toe rash.
- PTU Not Working
- I got the low blood count with this, and a severe infection, so can no longer use it. Almost died. I'm currently on nothing to supress thyroid hormone right now.
Close Migraine Headaches
I have had migraine headaches since I was a teen. I got meningitis a few years ago, and my migraines have been terrible since.
Treatments
- Caffeine Working / Worked
- Helps.
- Maxalt Working / Worked
- The melt tabs are good, but they only work in conjunction with phenergan and oxycontin.
- Promethazine Working / Worked
- I projectile vomit without it.
- Morphine Somewhat Helpful
- This works a little bit but only a little bit. I may be resistant to it because it usually takes about 4 shots before it even touches my migraines. It acts like an aspirin used to on a normal headache for me.
- Oxycodone Somewhat Helpful
- This also works a little bit. I take a combination of this usually two phenergan and maxalt and the combination helps me to feel almost normal. These migraines suck!
Open Financial Challenges
I'm nicer than I am smart. :( I loan money and never get it back. I treat for lunches, dinners, etc. If you needed help with money, I was always the woman to find the way to help. Well, now I'm in trouble, and I am barely paying my bills. Where is my me when I need someone like me to help me?

- I'm a pro at this, when people don't have an emergency.
- Cut Up Credit Cards Working / Worked
- Well...this might work, but my credit card companies have raised my APR because I had other credit cards. I had never missed a payment or been late on a payment, but they did it anyway. Jerks!
- Filing for Bankruptcy Considering
- I would hate to do it, but I may need to if I can't get some help.
- Holding a Garage Sale Working / Worked
- Thank God for Ebay.
