They had to close Mark Twains house in Hartford because of lack of funds to keep it open to tours.....It is absolutely amazing inside.....Fireplace under a window.....really, and it works.....

I love Twain -- I once took 8 units of his work in college over the summer -- just for fun! The body of his work is incredibly varied and intelligent.
