The date was great!
Mike and I had a great time. He took me to Old Spaghetti Warehouse for dinner, then - are you ready for this - he took …
I'm Mike the MS guy. I'm also Mike the AA guy, and Mike the bi guy.
But I've got Mike the MS guy on my mind.
It's important that I see to my living situation. I'm in a place that I really can't manage since the MS came on. My brother lived with me and helped a lot, but I'm on my own again. And I can't drive.
So, the long and short (again, for those of you who have been following) is that it's time to down-size and time to move into a smaller place in the city. I'm only out in West Seattle, but by bus downtown Seattle is a journey. And if I'm getting clobbered by the MS, the trip is just too long.
Most of my friends are in the city. None of them are out here. I live out here because the rent is cheap. I'll be spending $900+ for s studio in town. Ouch. But I need smaller anyway. But 500sf is kind of tight.
The general plan is to move into the new place, and store everything until I know that this will work out. It would to sell my stuff, only to have to replace it later.
Now it's about the AA training. Make a decision, take action.
The depression is better. Talking with my brother and the shrinks about this helps. I'm a little bit jazzed again. I'm going to upgrade to a olive smiley face. And it's time to read the NA book. If I'm going to have an NA home group, I'm going to have to sponsor, and it'd be a good idea to know the drill.
