Well you sure had good news, and bad. Going baby shopping will lift your spirits. I work at Wal Mart, and walk past the infant clothes all the time. So many cute things for my little Emily. There goes my check. LOL
I feel real bad for that family. Has to be awful. You are a good friend to them too, I can tell. That is all you can do.

My daughter had a herniated disc worked on 2 years ago, and has never been better even with the surgery. Now she has more, and this dr said the other surgeon didn't take enough off. I think she should sue, she won't. She is in constant pain.
I have to go to bed soon. Worked all night. Waiting for my son to call back from prison. He was up early, and called twice while I was working, then he finally got me, and I was in the car, and lost service. I warned him there is a dead zone on the highway and to call back around 8. He is doing well, considering he is in prison.

I fell off a ladder years ago and herniated a disc in my neck. Terribly painful until I had neural surgery. It was successful for me. I understand the type pain your daughter feels and it wouldn't hurt to consult with an attorney.
It is good to read that your son is coping well in prison. That must be difficult for you as a mother.
