dammit am scared
to CRASH.
I think I forgot about how important this site was to me and how important you all are to me. I took some time and went back. I looked at my journals from the begining of my journey and it's very empowering. I motivated people and they motivated me. I don't know how I'm going to get out of this funk, but I am. I can't let you all down.
I need to figure out why it is when I crash, I crash HARD. Why can't I just have a slipup and let it be? I really think that weighing once a month may be what I need. When I saw those small gains week after week, I couldn't handle it. It sent me into the spiral that I"m fighting my way out of.
I'm going to start making my journal rounds again. I find that when I"m encouraging others, it is encouraging to me. I need to do that for you---and for me. My tickers are rest again. One step at a time...

Welcome back! I'm so glad to read one of your entries again. I, too, stepped away from DS (non-sense, when it really helps and you get the chance to help others, too, as you said), but we can do this. And it's never too late to make a fresh start. Let's try and learn to forgive ourselves from our slip-ups and imperfections and remember that anything that's perfect doesn't get the chance to grow, change and evolve. Welcome back again... and stay with us. This is a good place, and I'm here for you : )

Thanks for the hug before but no need to thank me. Just stick with me when I hit a rough patch too. (it's all a rough patch actually) But I'm glad to see you fighting your way back and I LOVE what you wrote about getting knocked down. I keep telling myself something like that- get knocked down 7 times stand up 8. Someone sent me that once and it really applies to those of us with weight issues to live with. I do that once a month weigh in because in the past I've become a scale junkie when dieting. Just on it daily and constantly freaking out. (WhAt Up 2 OuNcEs!?!) It works for me for now. Just keep trying new things and I know something will click for you. You should be really proud of yourself for making your health a priority and I hope everything falls into place for you. I'm always here if you need a friend. (((HUGS)))

Yeah!!! I am so glad you have decided to stay with it, you are worth every ounce of effort it takes to start in again and believe me I know how hard it is. I miss you so much when you are gone- you are one of my first friends form way back in Janurary!! I like your idea a lot of staying away form the scale, it really helped me a lot to go to once a month weigh ins. That new gym should be kicking in soon, great timing!! You can do it, I believe in you!!!

You are doing so good. Why are you being so hard on yourself. You don't have much to lose. It's less than 50 pounds;) You need to look at it like the glass 1/2 full! I know that if you really take the time and plan out your "plan" (no pun intended) then you could really do it! There are so many ideas online as well. I hope you get back into it in full force now that it's summer! Take care girl!

I GREW UP WITH NO PUSHING OF EATING HEALTHY OR EXERCISING SO ANYTHING WE DO IS GREAT AND WE SHOULD BE PROUD. YOU MAKING THOSE SMALL CHANGES THAT COUNT. TAKE IT SLOW, GET INTO A ROUTINE THAT FITS YOU AND WORKS WITH YOU WITHOUT STRESSING OR OVERLOADING YOURSELF. ONE DAY AT A TIME. START OUT 1 DAY AND GRADUALLY ADD IN A DAY AT A TIME. I know what you mean. When my grandfather died it sent me into a funk. When my puppy broke his leg it took my focus off missing my pop to taking care of puppy. Take Care you can bounce back. huggles
