Today has been a long day, school …
Today has been a long day, school and drama with friends whatever!!!but im back and so yeah but you know who i really …
I know I haven't been on in awhile and I am happy to say I am doing fine.
Actually I am doing better than fine, so that's great for me. So I can help others as well.
My daughter graduates this Saturday, and for those of you who know that feeling you know where I am comming from. I feel so proud, and I am honored to be there & Clean & Sober.
A couple I know let me stay in their home for a week and a half while they were on vacation it was out in the country and it was just what the Doctor ordered. It was so peaceful and I read a lot and studied the big book and read other books I have. They had a nice fire pit I spent nights at and I took my Dog. It was just fablous. I learned a lot out there being alone and at peace with myself, and just listening to nature.
My Endoscopy Ultra Sound and stent surgery is the 27th so at least Caties graduation won't be a problem at all.
I wish to thank all of you whom hugged and messaged me. I am so happy and greatful for your time you take to help others and myself. THANK YOU !!!!
-Dave

Oh Dave, I am soo very proud of you my love, it must have felt pretty good being clean and sober.
I'll bet you wouldn't have thought that a couple of years ago, actually going to your beautiful daughter's Grad, and being straight as an arrow.
Again CONGRATS to Daddy on that one.
Let Catie know that I am proud of her too, she must have looked wonderful.
About this place you've been to, a house in the country.
Isn't it Heaven.
I tell you David, when I moved here almost 10 years ago, actually not to long after that we were diagnosed with hep c.
We bought this hobby farm, lets just say we were ready to turn the page on our salad days, and start living a nice healthy life, after living in the fast lane way too long.
If you know what I mean....
This place has been our Haven, our place of Peace on Earth.
The first few years, we didn't tell no one except our parents where we were living.
WE needed to leave our friends behind if we were going to have a fresh start at a Clean & Sober Life.
It was wonderful, still is, we have the whole concession to ourselves, like I could walk around on our ground no clothes on without worrying about someone seing us, that's how secluded our place is located.
The only trafic are tractors in the summer, and the bus for school in the other months, & of course local trafic and that's not much.
We know who ever goes by, if it's a car we never saw before we wonder and watch in case it would be thieves, you know, with the expensive machinery farmers have these days, four wheelers, ect....
Like the place you were at, we do have a pit fire too.
So nice to just sit and tell ghost stories with the kids, we have a ball.
I am happy that you had this chance, a chance to study who you really are, we tend to not know who we are whenever we are always on the go and using or consumption of booze all the time.
I have learn quite a lot of who I am since I've been here.
Of course having hep c also makes us reflect on our lives and all those years we messed up, so we still have the future, now we are happy and will make the best of the years we have in front of ourselves.
Thanks for the hug, and hope you enjoy the messages I send you if not let me know if it's too much.
Luv, Mckenzie one day at the time

Oh isn't life sweet like this?????? I know your daughter is so proud. I could just picture you in the country, peaceful and happy......and reading. God is so good.
My husband CajunMan knows what you are going through. He made a choice to get right....not always easy, but life gets easier as one chooses wisely especially i the small areas.... One step at a time in the peaceful/right direction. Throw an extra log on the fire for me!
