Close Epilepsy & Seizures
I was diagnosed with epilepsy when I was 16 years old. I had my first seizure then and have been fortunate enough to only have had a 8 in the whole time I have been diagnosed. No one in my family has a history of epilepsy. The doctors have no idea why I have it.

- Depakote Working / Worked
- massive weight gain
- Dilantin Working / Worked
- itchy rash on abdomen
- Keppra Working / Worked
- Weight gain, made my head feel really heavy
- Lamictal Working / Worked
- makes me dizzy if I haven't eaten anything.
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- Great!! had to stop taking it though because of the birth defect side effect
- Tegretol Somewhat Helpful
- severe dizziness and nausea
- Topamax Working / Worked
- frequent and severe urinary tract infections
- Lamictal Working / Worked
- I am taking 400mg twice a day. I have to be careful I eat when or before I take them or I will get sick. Not to close together or I will get dizzy. I think my body may be getting used to it.
