Hello and welcome to the group!
Welcome to the group. Take care and know we all are rooting for you.
I hope you feel better soon, but welcome to our group, and good luck with the parenting. That is great.

Chronic daily headaches as long as I can remember, Migraines since age 8, Tension headaches, Cluster Headaches, since I had 2 strokes at age 16. The pain got tons worse 4 years ago now I am unable to work or function as a normal woman.
We are unable to have children through normal means, so we are now involved in the Foster Parenting program. We finished classes last month and just had our first home study this past Monday. We hope to either Foster to Adopt or just outright Adopt. For once the medical issues are not on me.
While pursuing the cause of our infertility my OB-GYN sent me for an ultrasound and found a number of polyps, cysts, and endometriosis to boot. He scheduled me for surgery to correct all of the problems and to hopefully alleviate the pain and infertility issue.
I have been depressed since I was 16 and got very sick. I was on meds for a few years then I got tired of being emotionless so I quit them all.
I have IBS as long as I can remember. For many many years everyone thought I had an eating disorder since I was so skinny, but alas no....
I have had chronic head pain since I was a kid. No one understands what its like to be in pain ALL the time unless they have it too!
We have male factor infertility problems. As long as hubby thought it was me he was optimistic, but now that we know its him he has become withdrawn and depressed. He swings from wanting to try to get himself "fixed up" to just wanting to give up and adopt. Anyone have any advice?
I lost my guardian angel to a brain tumor in 1994 the same year my husband lost a fraternity brother to one. We have both been supporting The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke and the Angels Among Us program since we first met 6 years ago. http://angelsamongus.org/ We do it every year and work to raise money through out the year to give awareness to this program and keep allowing the center to develop new treatments for brain tumors so we never have to lose another loved one.
