i keep forgetting this. i dont know how but i do. a few of yall have asked about my cousin's who were involved in that car accident a while back.
well my older cousin, holly, is going through physical therapy now and theyre telling her that it'll probably be a year before shes fully recovered. everything is going okay except that her muscles in are doing something weird and theyre hardening and theres nothing medically that they can do for it. i really havent gotten the full story on that so im gonna ask my granny tomorrow.
my little cousin, grace, which is my older cousin's daughter, shes still paralyzed sadly but she is at a shriner's hospital in pennsylvania so theyre going to see what they can do for her. shes in a wheel chair and shes going to physical therapy and shes in really good spirits. she understands whats going on and shes taking it very well.
the response that theyve gotten from this is amazing. people that they dont know have done so many amazing things for them and i think that its awesome. it just goes to show that theres still some decent people left in this world.
Our family is putting together care packages with stuff for the family and some little toys for grace to have in her hospital room when shes having to stay there.
it means alot that so many of you have kept our family in your thoughts and prayers. i really appreciate it and so do they :)
