About Me
I married my college sweetheart on August 16, 2003. We are getting ready to celebrate our 5 year anniversary!! With that we are hoping to be pregnant. What a wonderful anniversary gift. We have been trying for almost two years now. We got an adorable Yorkie-Poo named Izzy, two years ago. We love her and are having a wonderful time with her. I work at Excursions a women's clothing boutique. I have been there for 2 years and I really enjoy it. My husband is in pharmacuetical sales. Coincidentaly sells birth control!!
Interests
Spending time with my wonderful husband. My family, my stepmom whom I spend most of my days off with and of course my friends. I love to walk outside and take Izzy for walks. I love to shop too! It seems to be therapuetic for me at times.

Hey Megan...I was an infertility patient and I now have a 9 year old. I became pregnant at 33 and I can tell you I was about to go banana's!!!! I was 14 weeks pregnant and did not know it! It took us nearly 10 years to conceive!!! SO, I can tell you all the right things if you want to vent....I know what to say and what not to say to an infertility patient. I will be praying for you!!!

Trying to concieve since Aug. 06
Treatments
- Artificial Insemination Working / Worked
- We had our first IUI on 3/24! It wasn't too terrible a little cramping and spotting but nothing unbearable. I am hopeful to see what comes out of this. We had three follicles on the left side. Nurse seemed really excited about it. We find out on April 7th!
- Clomid Not Working
- I took 3 rounds of Clomid before having the HSG test
- Femara Not Working
- Took Feb. and did not produce an egg (ultrasound 2/25) did feel more side effects on this one
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- I take a prenatal vitamin every day
- Follistim Working / Worked
- I took these shots along with Femara this cycle. Went for my ultrasound on 3/22 and had 3 eggs. No real side effects for me! We will see! Not fun though getting shots every day for 6 days.
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Somewhat Helpful
- I was able to find out that one tube was paritially blocked which was successfully unblocked
