Wednesday, Feb. 14--It is Valentine's Day today, and my husband is out of town until tomorrow. It's o.k. b/c I have been busy cooking gumbo at our church. This is our main fund raiser for the year. It is COLD outside today. Maybe it kill the bugs and germs floating around out there! I took a pain pill today since I would be standing a lot. I sure miss my grandchildren. 2 precious granddaughters live in Birmingham, 1 grandson lives in Colorado, and another granddaughter lives in Gloster, LA. So, we sure don't get to see them very much at all. I think I will take a nap. :-)

Hi Chris, I am so sorry that you don't have your mother to share with. I don't know that exact loss, but as you know I deal with my own. Holidays are especially tough for us. I thought about you as I was having lunch with my mom yesterday. I will see you this afternoon my friend. Trish
