hello friends

my name is patty and this is new to me and it scares me to think it might not go away,but they say it may take 2wks to 3mths. but sometimes it could be permanent so I hope its temporary. but it makes me so depressed because my speech is impaired by this, the left side of my face was affected by this.so at nite I wear a patch over my eye,take eye drops to keep eye moist. I need support on this it makes me depressed and I cry its so emotional to think why did this happen. they said it could be cold,head trauma,ear infection,herpes which I dont have or lyme disease. so now I have to get myself better so I take my meds all day long aspirn 1x aday,doxycycline 100mg 1tab 2xaday for 21 days,prednisone 20mg here it comes take 4 tabs daily for 2 days,3 tabs 3times aday,2tabs 3 times aday,then 1 for 1 day wow!!! acyclovir 400mg, 1 tab 5times aday for 10 days, wow thats alot to remember test tube bunny so you see this is all new to me
