I Am In A Down Cycle

I slept very well last night. In fact, I was watching TV when I fell to sleep. The TV has a timer (which I actually used for once in my life), so it must have worked. Upon waking this morning, the TV was turned off, and I was still wearing my glasses and hearing aids.
Today’s physical therapy was good. Using the manual traction, my therapist got me to the point where I did not have any pain in my back. That is the first time it has felt that good in half a year! It lasted for only two hours, but it is just the start. She is also trying to get permission from her superior for me to use their pool. She feels that would give my body a similar effect to being in zero gravity, so that all my muscles and joints could be freer to move easily. She wanted to know if I would agree to the treatment before she went any further. I have some reservations (like being in a pool of water to begin with!), but she assured me that another therapist would be working with her. I am willing to give it a try.
After I got home, I realized that the headrest for my chair had been left at the clinic. I called the clinic to let them know it was there. I was told that they would keep it for me until my next appointment on Tuesday. I was cautioned to be “very careful” without it. (I guess that means no more rolling in front of trains.)
Tomorrow I plan on getting a haircut, and then taking a new wristwatch back to Wal-Mart for an adjustment. I have not had a haircut in more than six months, so I guess it is long past due. Since I am going to a stage show (in downtown Denver) with my sister and her daughter on Sunday afternoon, I thought that I better look good, or I will never hear the end of it! The name of the stage show is Side Show. The cast is composed almost entirely of disabled actors.
Quotes for Success:
“You cannot sit on the road to success for if you do, you will get run over.”
