About Me
I am a 48 yr old woman, married almost 25 years. I have a 16 yr old son, who is the light of my life. I presently have a small home design business which unfortunately has been very slow to take off and so I am looking for other work to help with finances. Since I haven't worked outside my home for 14 yrs I have had a truely difficult time even getting interviews, which hasn't helped my marital situation that's for sure. It has been a constant sore point with my husband.
Interests
Lately my interests are few, guess with all the other crap going on I haven't done too much in that area. But, I do love to read, and I used to horseback ride a lot, but have since kind of dropped that, too expensive, tho I miss it. I am guilty of being maybe overly involved in my son's sports, but we both love baseball and the Cubs so that part is wonderful.

Well, to begin with I am new here and not quite sure how this is going to work out for me. I hope it helps because right now I am pretty down and out. I have been married 24 years, 25 in Aug. To tell the truth we have been having fairly serious problems for about 41/2 yrs.It has been an emotional roller coaster since.
Treatments
- Couples Counseling Not Working
- The counselor we tries 3 times, was all of 25 yrs old, single, and I felt not the best to advise us on our situation at all.
- Forgiveness Not Working
- So far he can't forgive or forget, and I have a bit of a hard time w/ that as well.
- Leave Somewhat Helpful
- Sometimes I get in my car and drive to forget.
- Music Not Working
- Can't even listen to anything we used to hear together. Too sad.
- Reading Somewhat Helpful
- I read whatever I can on relationships, somewhat helpful.
- Support from Friends & Family Considering
- I have told none of my friends/family a thing.
- Support Groups Somewhat Helpful
- Well we shall see if this helps me!
- Talking Somewhat Helpful
- Seem to go over the same *rap over & over, not good results there.
