Up early

Hi Gang, I got up and made a peach pie at 3am.. I was having trouble sleeping.. so my friend Chris always has baking Friday and I thought I would beat him to the oven this morning... My oldest son and family stopped by this morning on the way to the airport.. They are going to Hawaii today. actually maui.. I will be caring for there garden and chickens.. they have a big garden and they live more in the mountain area where it gets hot so I need to get there early this coming week.

I thought about maybe us staying up there for a few days might be a nice change of pace..thank you all for the comments the other day.. I am feeling more upbeat and will be getting back to you all..Enjoy this beautiful day. Love D

Peach pie - sounds good to me. My problem is that since I live alone - if I bake a pie (lol - I don't bake) ok if I buy a pie, I'm the only one here to eat it - so I do. Enjoy the garden and the chickens but watch out for that heat.

Baking that early - even if I can't sleep, i wouldn't be baking! Taking care of the garden and chickens might actally be good for you. I am glad you are feeling better. Take good care of yourself. Love.Sharon

OK betty crocker... way to go. Maybe that get a way would be a good thing for you. Change of scenery is always a good thing. Gets us out of our daily routines. I am glad that your feeling up beat. Always a good thing. Take care..

I'm so glad you find things that bring you peace too. Can I have a piece of pie? Oh wait! That really doesn't work... how about the recipe? Never did learn how to make peach pie, but it sounds yummy!
