Close Self-Injury
i have suffered with schizophrenia for 10yrs and started self harming 12yrs ago but i did stop for 4yrs but have just started again just before christmas.
Treatments
- Psychotherapy Not Working
- talking to someone that thinks because they've read a book on the subject they know what your going through i just felt was patrinzing.
- Rubber Bands Somewhat Helpful
- helps if i haven't been drinking
- Tattoos Somewhat Helpful
- had seven and they worked but don't really want to carry on to much of a good thing
Close Schizophrenia
i was dignosed with schizophrenia when i was just 14yrs old it wasn't until i had my daughter in 1999 that i had a complete psychological breakdown and my paranoia got complete outa control and spent 4yrs in a very bad state. but with the help of a good team and some great meds i began to live a relatively normal life working being mum, doing things with friends. but this xmas was the most difficult thing i've had to go through in a long time.
