I am a 37 year old female with a great husband and four daughters between the ages of 20 and 13. I do not work right now but I am working with Vocational Rehabilitation to find a job. Right now what takes up my time is trying to deal with pain.

Thank you. I will. I wanted to hear from the dr. before now but she hasn't called. I have six kids and its alot to keep up with on my own. I need help. God is there I know. Have faith, right?

Hang in there. If I have to you have to. I am dealing with the same thing. My symptoms have gotten worse over a 2 year period and so NOW they have called for a bunch of tests. They told me the depression and stressed thing at first too. I am waiting on the results from my MRI today. This is the 3rd one. Keep me posted how you are doing but rest assured I am going through the same thing. You are not crazy, it's real. Paula

Hang in there mindy... I can relate to how you feel all of the things you feel is what I feel and I say just stay presistant... even if you have to change dr I have 4 times just to find the right one and he is still on trial. I also am tired of maskign the pain but in some cases I am not sure we can do much more to make it go away......

Close Chronic Pain
Hi my name is Melinda. I am a 37 year old female. About three years ago I started to have problems with my arms. I had CTS in both wrist, tennis elbow in both elbows and Shoulder Impingement in both shoulders. I have had four surgeries on my hands and they did not help. The pain is in my neck now. I can not find a DR. that knows what is wrong with me. Or that doesn't hurt me when they try something new.
Treatments
- Chiropractic Adjustment Not Working
- I went to the chiropractic for my lower back and we got to talking about my neck and arms and he told me that he could help me with that pain too. So I let him try and he made the pain worse. It was worse for about three dats. So I did not go back to him.
- Flexeril Not Working
- did nothing
- Heat Working / Worked
- I have two heating pads that I use for pain and they do help a little
- Nerve Blocks Too Soon to Tell
- had it yesterday and I think it made me worse
- Physical Therapy Considering
- TENS Working / Worked
- I haved used it for a year . It helps a little. On my shoulders and and neck but does nothing for my arms
Close Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
I had CTS and had the surgeries but I got thumb problems from the CTS and my thumbs are not any better even after CTS surgery and surgery on my thumbs.
Treatments
- Carpal Tunnel Release Surgery Working / Worked
- The CTS release did help
- Wrist Splint Working / Worked
- I still wear spints while I sleep even though both surgeries were two years ago
Open Vegetarians & Vegans
I am a vegetarian and have been for as long as I can remember. I do not try to push it off on anyone else. I think it is my choice just like it is other peoples choice to eat meat.

Open Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
I have OCD I think it started almost eight years ago after a car wreck. It doesn't really bother me or my family. They think it is funny. I have four kids ages between 20 and 13. They play jokes on me and move things around and they time me to see how long it takes me to catch it. I catch it pretty fast and run to move everything back where it belongs. My husband doesn't mind it. He just learned how to do everything the way I would. Like fold towel or where to put dishes.
