Things are good here at the farm and I am feeling really pretty good! The weather is a little stinky though.......HOT HOT HOT....and ......DRY DRY DRY!!! Wow the grass goes.....CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH!!! and the cracks in the ground are big enough to swallow your foot!!! Geesh it is dry! Dry as a Pop Corn Fart ....as my grammy Bradds would say!

So I have had to stay in due to that! But hope by this weekend the temps will cool off a little bit.......cause I would really like to go out and sit for a spell! I sooo can't wait for Fall and hope we have one! Really don't like the thought of going straight into winter! But I have my ideas.......that come harvest time for the farmers......it is going to be a wet one! Seen this before and 9 out of 10 times it comes true! Poor farmers........it is going to be a tough year here......We started out really good......but then it became dry and I know the crops will suffer terribly for this. Damage will be up also.......along with foreign matteral.....which is weed seed. For we all know that weeds love dry weather!!! The only thing that will grow!

I did have a present in the mail from my Chickie Momma!!! It contained local honey from her area......flavored Coffees......and Milano Cookies!!! YUMMY!!! Plus a beautiful card!!!! THANKS CHICKIE MOMMA.......YOU ROCK!!! and the honey is awesome!!!!!

Love that hymn, when I was 10 I won my first art show with a picture of my paw pa's hands under the world and names for that old hymn. I drew it in pencil on a piece of sheet rock! How about that....

I think my man stole that saying from your grammy... It is one of his favorites! Yes, it is dry dry dry as a bone and this heat has got to break! The weatherman says it's dog dayz showing how little he knows the Almanac... Not quite Indian Summer, but certainly closer to that than dog dayz... Oh well...
Out on my Jezabel this morning touring the farm... Have tons of pictures that I just need to get off the camera and posted... (such a chore with my dinosaur from 1998, but the darn thing just keeps working! for which I am grateful!)
