is feeling OK
I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in April 2003. I started out on oral medicines which worked for a short time and then stopped working. I went on Lantus once a day at bedtime which did not work very well at all. Then I asked my Doctor about splitting the dose of Lantus and that decision made all the difference in the world. He also put me on Humalog to be taken with meals and snacks. My blood sugar control is much better now as my last A1C was 6.2 down from 9.3
I enjoy bike riding, knitting and crocheting, reading and caring for our flower garden in the Summer.
I will have to ask my doctor about the carb to insulin ratio thanx for telling me about it. I have a lot of problems leaving the homade sweets a lone to. It really stinks to have to worry about your sugar but if it is what we have to do we do it. Will talk more later thanx again.
I DO TRY TO HELP OUT. I HOPE YOU FIND SOME YUMMY IDEAS.I HOPE YOU SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS ALL ABOUT THE GROUP PACKED FULL OF YUMMIES THAT ARE GOOD FOR YOU.
