Hi everybody. This is Kathy, (SoCalMom.)
I just got off the phone with Lesa and she asked me to let you know how much she loves and misses you. Doesn't that just sound like her? She's in the hospital and she's worried about us.
Anyway, last week she noticed that her left foot had discolored slightly and had become cold and with no pulse. She was checked in to the hospital yesterday where they found out that a previous graft has a 98% blockage. They have her on Heparin now and tomorrow they'll begin the clot busting medication which will hopefully flush the blockage out.
After that, she'll go to the Cardiac ICU until she's stable.
They're planning on starting her IVIG next Monday.
She's being her usual upbeat self and is confident everything will go great and she'll be home with Quazar soon. In the meantime, he's pacing and holding down the fort. She talked to him on the phone and he rubbed his head against the reciever and let her know how much he misses her.
Her dad has been there to see her and JoAnn has been a huge help.
She'll keep us posted as often as she can, in the meantime, she just needs to REST!

Thanks Kathy. And yes that is Lesa. She is the one sick and she worries about us here. Hope that they can get it sorted out and that she will back with us in a while, Give her my love please and tell her we wil be fine she has to look after Lesa. The cloud is hovering for her.
