I had a super weekend with my friends from Tennessee!I have a neat downtown area in my city.They took an area that you'd be afraid to walk through at night and revitalized it, creating a beautiful park.People come there in droves now.There are lots of stores and restaurants,ice cream and coffee shops.There's a river running through the heart of the city and they've built a pedestrain bridge at the foot of the falls there.We shopped and ate and played all day.It was the day after Margie's birthday.It meant so much that she wanted to come see me.She inspires me so much.She has MS and is one of the most positive people I've ever known.She's been such a great friend!Her kids would do anything in the world for her.She is and should be very proud of them.They are family to me!
Saw the cutie vascular doctor yesterday.He looks finer everytime I see him!I love keeping that appointment!I go back Friday for scans,but my pulses were good,so there shouldn't be a problem.This doctor is a good man.He does many missions trips and really loves people.Each time I see him several med students come in first asking questions about my medical history.GBS is so rare and with all the other problems thrown in too my case is interesting to them.They always ask me how I can be so happy with so much wrong.I think that you have to try to find the good especially when things are bad.Otherwise you are sick and miserable.That's no way to go through life.
Good day today!Out and about with JoAnn.We came back and took Hope for a car ride.She rode with her head stuck out the window for the very first time and loved it!Finally was cool enough this afternoon to turn the air off in the car.
Dad is doing okay.I try to stay upbeat when I talk to him.He's hanging in there!
Football season is almost here.Got to dig out my Gamecock pics!Can't wait!

Lesa Im so glad you had a wonderful time it is much needed and deserved ,you have some many people on DS that loves you ,but I can see why friends like you are very hard to find now they are few and in between .So your Dr is a hunk makes it much easier on the eyes to see one of those my lung Dr is very handsome dont mind seeing him at all half time I dont listen to what he says to busy looking at him.So glad to her your dad is doing ok I no you worry a lot about him .As far as Miss Hope she is an awesome little dog she is smarter than a lot of people I no she has come a long way since you found her and has become a great joy to you and you to her. Football well just dont get into that much but lots of luck to your team GO LESA !!

That downtown area sounds so inviting! It is always great when an area is revitalized like that. I am so glad that you got out to enjoy it with your friends. Did you get any photos? I love how much you adore your doctor. A cute doctor on top of an excellent one is a blessing to find! He does really sound like an angel. Sounds like Hope enjoyed her car ride so much!
I am sure your phone calls to your dad keep him upbeat and are helpful to him. No doubt he very much looks forward to them. You are a good daughter and a GREAT friend. Love ya so much, Debbie

LESA - ROFLOL - I get the same round of "newbie" med students as well as the "newbie" pharmacology students. It's hysterical. I love messing with their young minds. I always use a straight face when describing my conditions then throw a curve ball like, "yeah, and wearing that garlic necklace under a full moon while throwing a dead cat over my left shoulder didn't work." ROFLOL They then just stare not know if I've actually done it or I've lost my mind. ROFLOL
