About Me
I am a passionate person. I am a poet, animal advocate, love cats, love nature. I love music and one time sang lead in a all gal group in the 60's. I play piano by ear. I am eccentric and funky and love to connect with my inner child. I am an old hippie at heart. I love all types of music and could survive well with just my books, music, cats and writing materials and also a piano. I love wild flowers, the ocean and the mountains. I love to wear hats and I love clothes and fine art. I love to cook too and I also love spiced chai. I am strong, funny, sensitive, very passionate, I love people.
Interests
Reading, writing, music, singing. Feeding wildlife. Volunteering. Cooking, playing piano, self taught. Animal advocacy and human rights. Photography, travel, different cultures and archeology. Advocating when I can to gain funding for reaearch to find a cure for Hepatitis-C virus. Also feel strongly and advocate for domestic abuse, violence. The numbers are large and last year we lost one of our own, here on DS to domestic violence. The laws must change..no woman is safe anymore..and no matter how many restraining orders one has...they are still murdered. These are the things I am passionate about..along with my furbabies and nature.

Close Back Pain
I still live with several herniated discs in lumbar area. Had 2 surgeries already years ago were successful. On pain meds now. No epidurals for me! If I had more surgery i am given 50/50 chance be in a wheelchair.

Open Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
I have diabetes and hepatitis-c virus. I believe the Chronic fatigue is a by product of this virus...I am here for support and information.

- I take Norco and methadone for other physical pain. I would like to try water aerobics. Cannot take many other meds like Cymbalta because of sick liver.
Open Hepatitis C
Diagnosed with hepatitis-c virus in 1996. Progressed to stage 3-4 grade 2-3 with fibrosis and fatty liver and pancreas. I have returned to support the family I have made here on this board and to educate newbies and receive support and education.
