THIS GOES OUT TO ALL OF MY FREINDS. A BIG THANKS FOR ALL THE HUGS AND PRAYERS.
I WOKE UP WITH THE TONES SO LOUD THAT I HAD A BREAKDOWN. I WAS ACTING LIKE I WAS CRAZY WALKING BACK AND FORTH HOLDING MY HEAD. WONDERING WHY! I TOLD MY HUSBAND TO STAY HOME WITH ME CAUSE I HAD IT AND I DIDN'T TRUST MYSELF. i WENT TO THE DOC AND HE GAVE ME VALUIM. WELL THE HUMMING AND ROARING AND THE TONES HAVE GONE DOWN SOME AND MY SENSITIVITY IS NOT SO BAD LIKE IT WAS. i CAN STILL HEAR THEM,BUT NOT AS LOUD. tHEY DID SOME TEST AND I HAVE LOST MORE HEARING IN THE RIGHT EAR FROM LAST YEAR HEARING TEST. A BIG LOSS OVER ONE YEAR. THAT EXPLAINS WHY THE HUMMING AND ROARING HAVE GONE UP. I HAVE TO GO BACK FOR SOME MORE TESTING. HE WANTS TO SEE IF I HAVE MENIERES. THE TEST WHERE THEY PUT GOGLES ON YOU AND BLOW AIR IN YOUR EAR. I ALREADY HAD THAT TEST DONE 4 YR AGO AND I DON'T WANT THAT TEST DONE AGAIN IT IS AWFUL, BUT HE WANT ME TO DO IT AGAIN I DON'T THINK I CAN HANDLE IT. THAT TEST I HAD 4YRS AGO PROVED I HAD BPV. SO I HATE TO SAY THIS BUT VALUIM IS KEEPING ME ALIVE RIGHT NOW,BY KEEPING THE NOISE IN MY HEAD DOWN. FOR THOSE WHO PRAY PLEASE PRAY THAT I GET THE STRENGHT TO GO GET THE TEST THAT I DON'T WANT DONE. THE OTHER TWO TEST ARE NOT BAD. A BIG THANKS FOR ALL THE HUGS I REALLY DO APPERCIATE THEM.

I just can't imagine the high volume in your ears, I'm so sorry. Mine sometimes puts me over the edge too. I had a procedure done by a ear specialist/plastic surgeon and he injected lanacaine in my ear hoping to cut the noise level. Instead had vertigo for 7 hrs. Saw another NY Top Ear specialist and he said stay away from quik fix prodecudres and loose total hearing. He suggested bio-feedback. I use special effects( ocean, waterfalls) noise machine at night to block out noise so I can sleep. I also use ambien to just plain knock me out or I'd listen all night.

i hate the ringing, and mines probably not that bad. i usually sleep with an air cleaner on full blast.
