I am a wife & mother of 2. Was never over weight until 4 yrs ago when I had my little girl. (previously size 4/6...ugh)...now I have a ton of weight that I am wanting to shed!

Hi, I am 34 yrs old & have struggled with an ed for most of my life (since age 6 apprx)...I have had 2 kids in the last 4 yrs & due to that, have put on weight like never before. I was AWLAYS freaked out about becoming fat...well, now I actually am & in total disgust with my being. Previous to being married (& having children), I was in & out of rehabs for this & my weight was a constant yo-yo...I have done everything to lose weight - no matter the cost.

I actually don't remember...I have been on so much medication /mixes & matches...just can't remember all

Dietitian Consult Working / Worked

I do think the dietician helps, but I have a very hard time with food plans as I totally obsess & then restrict even more.

Group Therapy Working / Worked

Liked group therapy as you don't feel like you are alone...people understand!

Lexapro Working / Worked

can't remember if worked.

Outpatient Treatment Program Working / Worked

it is great for structure...but you have to still go home at some point & face life

Paxil Working / Worked

i did paxil & paxil cr...liked paxil cr better

Prozac Not Working

One of my first meds...hated!

yes...need to get back into therapy...but so hard to open up

Remuda Ranch Working / Worked

until i left transitional living...the inpatient was great...when i moved to chandler, it threw me for a loop as i had to begin completely over with a new therapist/dietician...could not deal!

Have been to 6 others...some where good & got good tools. Some were not good & would never recommend!
