A question I receive quite often is; "You say you have trouble making friends, but you seem nice, why do you have trouble making friends?"

The answer isn't really even a real answer, I'm just strange.

I don't shop at any of those 'popular' shops, because the clothes are hella uncomfortable, I wear hoodies and sweats. I have strange tastes, in music, movies, books, everything. While the other girls are going on about Fergie and Rhianna, I'm boppin' along to Tegan and Sara and MSI, not to mention alot of foreign music. I'm about 20 times more mature than most people my age. I'm not cute or pretty, I don't wear makeup, just because I don't want to, I have these huge dark circels under my eyes, I rarely smile anymore, I slouch, I don't look people in the eye, I could go on, but I'm boring.

As for the 'You seem nice' part, I am. People just don't give the niceness a chance to shine through, before they ditch me for someone more normal. People on the internet like me because the good things about me can pop out right away, Like my sense of humor, But in reality, I'm not as cool as I seem on the web, and I don't even seem cool on the web, so I must really be something in real life :P

i think its really awesome that youre not like other girls. youre unique and unique in my eyes is usually beautiful. i think youre a great person because of everything that you have said and people who pass up the chance to be your friend are idiots. :)

Hey. You're in the twilight zone called high school. This is the place where conformity and superficiality is highly rewarded, while creativity and independent thought is incomprehensible. And.. you are cute. You just don't realize it. You don't have to be a carbon copy of what's in style to be cute. I'm not sure if I'm making any sense since it's the middle of the night. Think I better go sleepies. Have you figured out the best way to keep up with James? Email? Chatting? Gotta sleep. Ta ta.
