A NEW GOAL? Are you kidding me!?

No, my dear readers, I am very serious.

Pretty much, I can't look people in the eye when I'm talking to them, because, when I look people in the eye, I know they're looking at my face, and I hate my face. I feel like they're judging me, even when they're just speaking to me, so I look at my hands, or their hands, or my feet, anything but their face. Even my close friends. Who wants to talk to someone who won't look at them?

So I'm gonna try to work on this.

There's nothing wrong with your face silly. You're a cute girl. I've been through periods where I've felt very self-conscious about my appearance. The media creates such unrealistic expectations about what a person is suppose to look like.

Hey.. I just looked at a celebrity plastic surgery website.. I was really surprised at how very different they looked before and after their surgeries. Marilyn Monroe, for example, just looks like a regular person before her makeover.. I'm not suggesting people get plastic surgery. I can understand it in extreme cases.. I'm just trying to make the point that even the world's best looking celebrities really didn't start out looking that good. Frankly, I'm much more comfortable around people who aren't beautiful. Beautiful people make me feel self-conscious.
