Hello my Friends! I talked to my rhuemy today, he is starting me back on MTX and Plaquinil. I had a minor flare this last weekend, my first in a long time! I am still feeling it in my shoulders today, but not real bad! What hit me more then anything this time was the tiredness, it really kicked my ass! I am not one that falls asleep watching tv, but I was sitting in my office here at home and passed out completely watching tv in my office chair! I had to go to the dentist this morning also......went well!

Yeah the fatigue is rough. Sorry you are having to go back on mtx. I really hated being on it. Good Luck! April

if you're on a low dose of mtx, ask about Trexall. it's a form of mtx, but only 1 pill, and it seems to have less side effects for me. the fatique is hard to deal with. i've been very tired lately & hate it. i just go to sleep early each night till it passes. try to drink as much water as possible, and stretch. :)
