Went to see Jim, my massage therapist yesterday afternoon. He studied up on the psoas muscle and the MS hug. He worked for an hour on the spasticity I get in my right thigh and that psoas muscle. I could feel the muscle in my thigh letting go, lengthening. The stuff he did to the psoas was painful but it let up quickly. I explained to him that i will have pseudo-exacerbations because of his work. But they are temporary and his work is long term. He's fantastic, combining traditional and eastern. I love it. Last night I was exhasted and my legs were radiating. The back of my knees felt like I had a sunburn. I took my ambien and slept. Today feels much better. Thank God for sleep aids!
It sounds like a good thing, even though painful at the time. My brothers girlfriend is a massage therapist, too bad she lives in TX! I sure could use one!!! I'm glad today is better for you! Enjoy! Love Ya!!
