About Me
I'm a mom of 2. My passion are my kids... I Left my husband due to Domestic Violence towards myself and our son. I felt I had no other choice if I wanted to keep me and my children safe. 4 days after he put me in the hospital, I took the kids and left. I finally got the courage to leave. Sad part is that he STILL says that he did nothing wrong...that it was all my fault.... There is no repairing this marriage

Close Breakups & Divorce
Together for 16 years and married for 14. I have 2 children with one being disabled. I left my husband due to Domestic Violence to both myself and our son. The last time he put me in the hospital and that was it. A week later I got an Order Of Protection (while he was away on business) I took the kids and moved into a DV shelter. Stayed there for 6 months, used all thier resources and now the kids & I have our new home together We now feel safe and still adjusting to our new life We are ok now

Close Physical & Emotional Abuse
I was married 14 years together for 16yrs. I have 2 kids. My husband both verbally and physically abused me and our son for the past 5 years. The last year was the worst. 8 mths ago I got the courage to leave when he put me in the hospital. And here I am today..Just me and my kids...

- Amazing...I was properly educated on abuse and the warning signs.
- Grief Counseling Working / Worked
- I still have a long way to go, as does my son. The process is slow,but we are still working at it.
Open Epilepsy & Seizures
My daughter was Diagnosed at age 2.5years old. She is now 4.5 years old and still suffers from severe epilepsy. She is mentally handicapped due to brain damage suffered during pregnancy. She made it when the odds were against her. She is truly a God send!
Treatments
- Dilantin Working / Worked
- Worked for a few months then stopped working even with increase dose. So they added Neurontin with this one.
- Keppra Not Working
- She is allergic to this one.
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- Working great in conjuntion with the Dilantin
- Tegretol Somewhat Helpful
- It worked for 3 weeks then no matter how high we went up it just stopped working
