      hi my friend good to hear from you. i saw my rematoligist yesterday. he still has me on the planquril for the lupus. for the fibro he put me now on elavil it is an antidepressant but works for fibro and lupus. he was going to put me on something else but got to see if this will work. i told him the neurotin make me dizzy. he took blood work for the lupus to check my kidneys lungs and to see how the lupus is doing.

      hi my friend thanks for the info going to ask my rematoligist about this medication i see him the end of next month. i am glad it is helping you. i am in so much pain with the lupus and fibro and still dont know what sleep is maybe 5 hrs a night. i sleep better during the day then i do at night.

      I have been through numerous tests. In the beginning I had an RH factor and inflammation in my blood. My blood work is normal now however, I feel the same as I did 7 months ago. Chronic pain, mostly in my legs. Fevers of 99.4 to 100.1 depending on the day. Dr.'s feel that is not a true fever, but my normal temp was 98.1 before all this started. Kaiser is not much help. Dr. put me on Elavil- she doesn't really know what to do. I am trying to cope and get a diagnosis.

      No effects yet, feel a bit numb.

      I am married with 3 children. I teach photography in a high school. Love my family, love my job. Just diagnosed with Fibromyalgia today. Have been ill for 9 months, on p/t disability.

      Treatments

      Elavil Not Working
      did not help- had intense dreams though, had dry mouth and a little foggy in the beginning but it went away after 2 weeks.
      Neurontin Not Working
      stopped, just made me gain weight and had double the fibro fog
