I thought I knew the difference between my moods but I was wrong. For the past two months or so, baseline has meant mild hypomania, and so and so forth.
What a mess! I can't wait to start new meds! I'm sick of the roller coaster ride and the anxiety. I hope I can tolerate the Buspar and Lamictal, please God, help me!

"Baseline"?
"Stable"?
Apparently I'm stable, but I don't like being stable when it means I'm consistently depressed. I have been charting my moods since I started on meds. I can share the chart I use if you'd like. It helps me to define and express my moods so my health practitioners and husband and I have a better understanding of what I need.
I, too, can't wait to improve. However, I'm looking beyond meds as a way to get off the rollercoaster.
I hope Lamictal works well for you. It did a super job of stabilizing me. I just couldn't trade mood stability for physical instability: I lost my balance (physically) easily when on it and kept getting injuries. How ironic...trade balance for imbalance, stability for instability.
