Close Hepatitis C
Dx. Hep C in 1995 although when I was 19 Red Cross said I couldn't donate blood because "non-specific" hepatitis. Tried all 4 clinical trials: non-responder. Side effects from those have left me in pain constantly, afraid to talk to people or leave house, instead of losing weight as everyone else, I gained. I always respond opposite to everyone else. Have been in recovery through N.A. since 7-9-85. Stage 4 liver. Everyone I know w/ transplants has died, which really cuts down your bonding.
