My soon to be ex-husband and I were married for 17 years and I have a 5 year old daughter.
My ex-husband moved out 1 month ago. I have noticed some behavior from My daughter that i am concerned about. She is a child that does not like to verbally communicate. She stated that she is sad, when i ask her what she is sad about she will state that she cannot tell me and that I cannot fix the problem.
I have asked her if she is sad that her Dad has moved out she will reply she is not. She has asked me the question several times what happens when a person heart stops beating and I stated that the person dies. She cried and asked me alot of questions about death. I answered every question as truthfully as possible for a 5 year old.
I am sure that her sadness and questions about death is related to my divorice.
Has any other parent seen this behavior and if so what did you do?
