HI,HUN I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM U IN SO LONG. HOW ARE U? I HAVE BEEN SO SICK THE MS IS GETTING WORSE IT IS GETTING HARDER TO WALK I WALK WITH A CANE. I LIVE IN PAIN 24/7 BUT I HAVE GOOD PAIN MEDS I DONT TAKE THEM UNLESS I CANT STAND THE PAIN. I AM SORRY THAT I HAVE NOT BEEN THERE FOR U. IT IS SO GOOD TO HEAR FROM U. I AM STAYING STRONG MY SON AND MY HUSBAND OF 19 YEARS WONT LET ME GIVE UP. LET ME TELL U THERE ARE DAY I CANT GET UP. I GO SEE THE NUERO OCT 17 WILL LET U KNOW WHAT HAPPENS. I HAVE A COLD THAT IS KICKING MY ASS. I DONT HAVE A VOICE AND IT HURTS TO BREATH MY LEFT EAR IS CLOGGED IT SOUNDS LIKE I AM IN A DRUM MY VOICE ECHOS. TAKE CARE LOVE AND REMEMBER U ARE NOT ALONE WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER. LOVE YA MY FRIEND.

Good point. It would be discrimination. the thing that is often the problem is that the company doesn't tell you they aren't hiring you because of the DS. It can simply be, that they 'found another person more qualified" or a million other items. If they don't state that that is the reason, it is not discrimination. and on top of that , if it "might" endanger you or your fellow workers, it is not discrimination, but a safety factor. The other thing is , how does the prospective employer know you have it? You don't have to tell them about it unless it might interfere with your job. so if you applied for a job to walk steel beams 500' in the air, yea, you might want to tell them, but you may also want to apply for a different job! (lol) There are ones out there that you can do, i'm sure. be patient. hang in there!
