Close Amputees
I had my left leg amputated below the knee when I was five years old due to a very rare infection from chicken pox.
Treatments
- Physical Therapy Working / Worked
- I did PT when I was young to straighten my stump, learn to walk with crutches and learn to walk with a prosthesis.
- Prosthetic Device Working / Worked
- I have a prosthetic leg and it has allowed me to live a very normal life.
- Skin Graft Working / Worked
- I had a skin graft when I was young. It left me with large scars on both thighs but it worked.
