ok,
so its like 4am here. im in washington.
yesturday my lawyer called me to pick up the check. i went to his bank and just cashed it out.
they treated me like i was crazy at first but when the teller realized that it was a real check the manager came out and introduced herself to me and ussured me that everything was going to go over smoothly. they even offered me an account. cool
so last night i was looking for a car only to find out that buying a car aroung tax time is not cheap at all. oh well the one that i want is not in my price range anyway how ever i did find an older model for really cheap.
i went to sleep about 1030 last night and woke up at 230 this morning after tossing and turning and not really sleeping. i didnt take my ambien last night so no sleep for me. and i have 12 hours of class and 3 hours of book time to do today. so exhausting. oh well cant change it.
anyhow 90 percent of the money i got has gone straight to bills. stupid bills. so now im stuck billess with no money. funny how that works. when i have bills i have no money, when i dont have bills i still have no money. oh well cant change that either. the point of the story here is that im not very happy with the outcome of events. i am happy to finally have no bill collectors calling me and harrassing me. and i have had some mean ones. even call me a "bitch" and tell me to "pay my fucking bills" then hung up on me after not accepting my explanation of why i couldnt pay my hospital bills. and that was a supervisor i was talking to. i didnt know they could do that. but when i went to file a complaint against the guy cause i know its against the law all they did was say "whatever. you should pay your bills and we wouldnt have to collect from you." i did mention that it was illegal for them to curse at me and call me names and she said "did you get this in writing or on tape" i said no and she said "case settled. lots of the people we collect from make up harrassment stories." whatever. oh well.
ugh im so tired. i didnt hardly get any sleep last night.

If you go to morganandmorgan.com they have a lot of good advice as to what bill collectors can and cannot do and say!
I owe bank of america 1500, which has turned into 4000, and they have even supponed me to court, but they cant do anything about it, because they called me in the same way, and harrassed me.
I have the phone records on my cell to prove it.
the are NOT allowed to call more than 2x a day, before 7am or after 9pm. Or on sunday. and they definatly cannot use profanity. I am sure there is a way to get those phone records if it comes down to it.
And because they know they broke the law.. they are not persuing their case against me...
