Well, today is April 15, 2008.  I can't believe this month is already halfway over with.  I have about ten days left of school, if that.  Soon it will be finals.  *yay*  I hope I do well on them.  I'm most worried about my philosophy final.  I know that I failed the third exam, and if I didn't fail, I made a horrible grade.  I was lucky the first two times and made Bs, but not the third time.  Although I studied for it I didn't do well.  *sigh*  Hopefully I can get at least a B in philosophy.  I'll be really disappointed with anything else.

Anyway, the rest of school is going pretty well.  I have two more speeches to give in public speaking and then I'm through with that class!!  I'll be so relieved when it's over with that's for sure.  I'll have at least a high B in that class.  French and English are great.  I have As in both of the classes thus far.

I'm taking Summer I courses which lasts from the end of May until the first of July, then I'll be off for the summer.  I'm just taking two classes during the summer, so hopefully it won't be too difficult.  I can't wait until summer vacation, though.  I hope to have a relaxing and easy vacation.  Hopefully over the summer Allen will take me fishing at the beach or something.  That ought to be really fun.  *smiles*

After the summer I'm all ready for the fall courses for school.  I've already registered for both summer and fall.  During the fall I'll be taking four courses:  math, English, art appreciation, and US history.  I wanted to take French, but it didn't fit into my schedule.  *sigh*  Hopefully I don't lose everything that I've learned.  I'll just have to study hard over the summer and fall to be ready to take it again in the spring of '09.

So that's how school is going.  Life otherwise is pretty normal.  Nothing really to report.  I moved back to my boyfriend's house and so far everything is going well.  I'm a little frustrated because I don't have internet access there, but hopefully that will change really soon.  It's frustrating not being able to do my internet work for school at home, or to get online when I want to at home and whatnot.  I can only get online when I'm at my mom's, and that just doesn't work very well because I have things I have to do during the day.  I also miss talking to my best friend Diane.  Right now the only way we're keeping in touch is through email.  It's fine to do that, but I just miss talking to her online.  We usually like to send each other music, videos, pictures, and such.

I have to set up a new goal for myself as far as losing weight goes.  I hope to lose the weight by August of this year.  It's 30 pounds that I want to lose.  I think I can manage that by August.  I just have to work really hard at it and eat right and exercise right.  I have gotten into the bad habit of not doing any of those things.  Time to get back on the wagon!!  So by August it is.  I'll manage somehow.  I have a chart to keep track of my progress (or no progress), so hopefully that'll help keep me motivated.  I've managed to lose 70 lbs (of which 15 have come back), so I know that if I can lose that much weight, 30 lbs is nothing.  Well, I shouldn't say that because it's hard to lose weight no matter what.  Thirty pounds is really hard to lose, but I know it's possible.  *sigh*  Here we go!!

Today is a good day so far...hopefully it'll stay that way...
