I love hummingbirds!  We bought a hummingbird feeder yesterday, and I hung it up directly outside our French doors that lead off the bedroom.  That way, this morning I was able to throw the doors open, climb back into bed and watch the hummingbirds!  They are so cute!  There are two in particular that I'm beginning to recognize.  One is really tiny, and doesn't make a lot of noise with its wings when it flies, and when it comes to the feeder, it always perches and sits and feeds for a long time.  Then there is another one, that's quite large and sounds like a bloody bomber when it flies.  At one point, I dozed off and when it came to the feeder the sound of the wings woke me up!  And it rarely perches... it flits from feeder hole to feeder hole several times, and then flies off again.

We went and got a movie last night - Untraceable.  I've been waiting to see it, but it was really rather boring.  Well, maybe "boring" isn't the right word... "slow" would be better.  So, I wasn't too happy about it.  But, during the movie my hubby sat in his arm chair.  He usually doesn't do that - he usually dominates the sofa, and I sit in my arm chair (which is next to his).  Last night, we were side by side, and he was quite playful - kept feeding me Lays dill pickle chips, and he wouldn't let me finish eating one before he started shoving in another one - he kept doing it and making me laugh.  He was also playing footsies, and tickling me, etc.  I think he was just really happy about the day having gone so well - being out so long together without me having any panic attacks or anything.  Most of the afternoon, before we did the movie thing, we spent outside in the backyard.  He helped our landlord with a yard project (building a new wall for our lanai) and had a couple beer, and I sat with the bunny and did puzzles.  Then, I took a nap.

So, over all it was a fantastic day - and today we go to a BBQ at his brother's place.  We have to be there at 4:00, and I am to bring a potato salad.  I'm going to make a really good one - straight from the deli!   LOL   (This is what I do - I cheat:  I get the salad from the deli, then I buy carrots, dill pickles, celery, chives and radishes, and chop them all up really small [except the carrots, which I grate], and mix it all into the salad - when I'm done, no one recognizes it as a store bought salad!).  I top it off with fresh parsley or basil and paprika.  Sometimes I add rosemary to the salad - people don't know what hit 'em!   Sshhhhhhh... it's a secret!
