i am so in love with my dress! it's an alfred angelo dream in color dress. i can't wait til it comes in and i can start my fittings lol :) but more important, scott loves it too! i know it's unconventional to have your fiance go with you to try on dresses, but since we're already married i wanted him to be a part. his opinion means a lot to me, and over the past few weeks he has not been too supportive of my top choices. however, as nervous as i was to have him there last night it turned out to be an amazing experience. he took it seriously, had great ideas, and loved the dress i picked. he didn't even blink an eye at the cost! LOL
my sales girl stefani was fantastic! being a plus size girl i am very self-conscious of my body -- especially around stick thin girls which stefani is. however, she made me feel so comfortable, gave me great suggestions for undergarments to help with cinching, all without making me feel "fat" or uncomfortable. she was FABULOUS!! she made my night a really great experience.
Wednesday night he and I went to MW tux and we picked diamond lilac for Scott and victorian lilac for his groomsmen and the ringbearer. it's funny because everywhere else the victorian lilac is the darker of the colors but at mw it was the other way around. thank god i took my swatches! but it went really well. Scott was much more cooperative than i expected LOL he just doesn't really care about the details (like with the dress he just kept saying "they all look the same to me" lol) but we picked them and now our guys can go get fitted. :)
it's exciting to be able to mark these things off of my checklist. :) my dress has been really stressing me out because i honestly couldn't choose. i loved 5 different dresses for 5 different reasons. going last night to try them on was great and really helped solidify what i wanted. and it's such a relief that scott actually likes it and is excited about it.
now i just have to finish the invitations, program fans, centerpieces, and some other odds and ends and i'm done! we've got a little more than 6 months to go. I can't believe it!! :)

That is such wonderful news! You sound so happy and I think that is great! I remember planning my wedding...I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Now I wish I could go back in time and just slow down and enjoy the process. Congrats on getting so much done!
