My name is Heather, I am a stay at home Mom of 2 great kids... Danny(5) Helana(11). Not only am I a proud Mom but a proud military wife, my husband Jim is in the Navy...submarines. I llove to read, shop, spend time with my family and friends. I am looking for support thru my journey of Gastric Bypass and to make friend and meet great people along the way.
Interests
SHOPPING!! playing with my kids in the yard, spending as much time as I can with my husband he is active duty military, talking with friends, did I mention shopping?

Close Gastric Bypass Surgery
My name is Heather, I am from Waterford NY, I am 29 years old and am having Gastric Bypass Surgery. My starting weight was 321 and I am ready for surgery on March 20, 2008, I am looking for tips, support, stories and friends...I have been overweight all my life and last year I was put on medication for high blood pressure and GERD, I have had IT, and am finally going to do something about my health!!
Close Anxiety
I have been struggling with anxiety for 10 year now, I have only been on Lexapro for 5 years and it works, sometimes the dose needs to be ajusted. Alot of my Anxiety is about my health

My husband is Active Duty Navy(Submarines)16 years now, he is stationed in Groton CT and we have a home in upstate NY. We are very much looking forward to retirement :)
Open Hiatal Hernia
I just recently found out I had a small Hiatal Hernia after my Dr. ordered me to have an endoscopy prior to my Gastric Bypass surgery..that would explain the pain sometimes.
Open Bereavement
Type: Loss of a ChildI lost my youngest daughter Alexandra Renne to cancer (pleuroPulmonary Blastoma) when she was 2 and a half on May 8th 2003.
