Hello my dear friends..
Catarac surgery went well.. It is amazing what they can do!
My sister is here, so I get to go out more, which means I am way
behind in DS. She also uses my computer for her business, etc, which of course means there is more limitation for me.
I am having a good time! I actually walked to the eye doctor's office the day after surgery for follow-up. It is only about a mile, but it was great to be able to do it without worrying about my mom.
I still think I will have to go away for about a week, even if only to a local town. Even with my sister here, my poor mom still gets on my nerves, because my patience is virtually non-existent. Hopefully, if I can go away, I can recover. Would you believe that is actually more difficult than eye surgery and even my MS. True it is mild, but it is still there. I think I have more trouble multi-tasking. I used to be able to think of stuff and still answer my mom, but I cannot do that any more.. I suppose that is the MS..
Anyway, my dear friends, I will probably NOT be around much for the next few weeks, so here are my orders: TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES!!!!!

So glad to hear the eye surgery went well and you got and took that walk without having to worry. I do know what you mean when you say that. I seems that multi tasking is becoming harder and harder for me. I use to work in an office so I was able to do 6 things at once now it is 1 thing at a time!!
Wishing you well and try to enjoy some You time.

Good news on the eye surgery; congrats, darling! Especially as I age, I find multitasking is a thing of the past! I think most definitely that is the MS talking back... Hope you enjoy spending a little time with your sistour AND getting a much needed break from Mom... You're a saint! xoxoox Cj

Hi Clare, so glad your surgery went well, and that you are getting a bit of a break in the routine. I can't answer about the MS and multitasking, though it must be a challenge. I do find that caregiving takes over my mind a lot, and it's sometimes hard to separate being the "technician" from being the wife.
Definitely get yourself a break for a bit... and yes, ma'am, we will try to take care of ourselves... Just make sure that you do, too!
