Hugs to you,I am going through all of this as well.My hubby just turned 53 I am 46.

I'm also dealing with a husband in the mild state of dementia. We started cognitive therapy early last year and it became more and more obvious that he had a real problem and that the therapy was doing mor harm than good. I finally got him to a neurologist later in the year. He has good days and bad days, but yes, we are becoming more and more joined at the hip. At this point we are both also retired, so my situation is easier than yours. Would you be interested in becoming an official friend? ImAStar

My husband was diagonosed in March of this year. Since thne I have lost my mom in Jan 07, she too had Alzheimers. My husband has progressed a bit since March, over the last week we have had episodes that he really did not know what he was saying. He does not want to leave my side, but I have to work. That's it in a nut shell
