Hello Judie, Thank you for your entry about your dear husband's EC. The more I read your letter the more upset I get. After 2 missed biopsy's I would be to an attorney concerning a Medical Neglect suit. I did for my husband they are still working on it. If anything happens fine but my main objective is to make these doctors aware they have someone's lives in their hands. We trust them, we believe what they tell us, that is why they have the degree's and years of studies. These are someone's father or husband. We all know we will die when it is our time but when neglect forces your time before it should be that is wrong. Maybe our husbands would have only lived another year or so but I would give my life for another year with my husband even if he had some problems I just loved him as he was and I know he wanted to live so bad. When he came home he knew he was going to die so I think he just took his last 3 days talking to his kids and I and then he went to sleep only waking when I touched him and 2 days later I touched him Saturday morning and he opened his eyes and died as soon as he saw me. So I think about all you said and I am so angry still a year later. I go on web sites and inform people. I want people to be aware of symptoms I want to maybe save one person from this horrible cancer, if I can do that I won and so did my only love. He would be smiling as he always did anyway. I am very sorry for your loss. My husband of 30 years died of Esophageous Cancer Aug 07. I know your pain he was the best husband and so full of life he just retired March 1st only to have his world crushed March 5th with that dismal diagnoses and being told he did not have long to live. What a thing to hear just when you planned to retire and travel and have fun in our lives. Two weeks before he died my daughter was diagnosed with rare lung cancer she had 31 tumors taken out of her left lung and still needs to have her right lung operated on and she is paralized on her left side from 4 brain surgeries so my life is full of good news. I wish you the best and I know how hard it is and what you are going through you did have a lot more time with you husband that I did with mine and I always wish I would have had a little more time but he was taken from me way to soon and I will never get over him. It hurts so bad. Finishline
