About Me
I just graduated college with a Bachelor of arts in Art (my most preferred medium is photography and painting). I got married in June, and we now share a "cozy" little apartment in MN. We recently moved, so I'm lacking the community I was used to before, but I'm trying to make new friends via church, work, and the neighborhood. I have a cat, and even she's getting pudgy. (It must be contagious.)

Close Diets & Weight Maintenance
I've put on 20 pounds over the past year or two. I'm 6' tall, and fluctuating around 166 pounds. Being so tall, I can "hide" the weight a little more easily than some, but I can still see the difference. I've reached a point where I'm completely unhappy with my body. I can't fit into my clothes, I feel unattractive - especially any time my husband wants to get physical, and I'm tired of the bulge and the fat rolls and the all extra pounds that I try so hard to hide.
Treatments
- Eating Healthier Foods Somewhat Helpful
- I used to eat a lot of junk food, fast food, etc. Now that I'm married, it's both easier and harder to eat healthy. I've been trying to drink less soda, and more water/tea for starters.
- Eat Less Somewhat Helpful
- I tend to eat too much at meals, and snack too much throughout the day, so I've been trying to pay better attention to when I'm full, and not snack so much - or eat several smaller meals throughout the day instead of just one huge binge at night. The problem is, I like to eat when I'm bored, when I watch tv/movies, or when I want a distraction - which is most of the day.
- Physical Exercise Working / Worked
- I've started a walking dvd that I really liked, and I at least felt like I looked better, even if the scale wasn't showing any difference. Lately though, I've felt so unmotivated to do anything.

Treatments
- Elliptical Trainer Working / Worked
- I LOVED using this machine - but it was at my college's work-out center, which was free. Since I've graduated and moved, I don't really have the income for my own, or a gym membership to use one.
- Running Somewhat Helpful
- I prefer walking over running, really - I do this at home walking work out dvd that I like, but I need to be more consistent with it.
