      Type: Tubal Issues

I had ulcerative colitis as a teenager. By the time I was 24 I was very sick and decided to have my colon removed. After 4 surgeries, multiple complications, including a horrible abdominal infection, the damage was done. My tubes were filled with fluid and impassible.

      Treatments

      Adoption Working / Worked
We brought our baby daughter home on Feb 16th!!!
      In Vitro Fertilization Not Working
We had one full round of in vitro yeilding 11 embryos. We first implanted 3, which yeilded no preg. Then we since have done two frozen embryo transfers with no pregnancies. We will pursue another round of in vitro in the next year.
    • Close Adoption

My husband and I have been through IVF three times with no pregnancies. We have been pursuing adoption for the past 2 years and were finally so very blessed to be chosen to parent a beautiful baby girl. We will go through IVF once more, but hope to adopt again whether we get pregnant or not.
