I can understand your feelings. I think a single parent is better then dueling parents for a kids mental health. I'm having one of my bouts of energy today so hoping the weather will let me get out and do some deck work, otherwise it's more house cleaning.

How terribly sad, that is even worse then just leaving because you got pregnant. I'm sure it's a decision he'll regret one day but probably not while he can still do anything about it. Does he plan on being in the childs life at all?

I just wanted to let you know that I understand. I'm 30 weeks pregnant and single. My boyfriend and I were pregnant last year but loss the baby due to complications. 4 months later we were pregnant again. A month after that he told me we should break up and revealed that he had cheated on me. We were going to get an abortion, but he cried and begged me to keep the baby. I barely hear from him. He carried groceries up the stairs twice. At first dealing with the cheating I was angry. But then I realized it was bad for the baby. I probably would have never aborted her, but for him to have begged and then be absent was upsetting. He calls more now, but it still is random. I just prayed that I could take care of her even if he never comes around. In the end it's you and the baby. A precious gift. I'm not going to lie, there are times when I want to break down and cry and be mad. But I know it's not good for Samaya. So I stay strong and surround myself with positive and supportive people. I even want to start a local support group for women going thru the same thing. We can get together share advice, resources, and go out occasionally. Not everyone has family and friends that understand. It's not like a normal breakup where you can go out or meet someone new to get over it. You are pregnant and seem stuck in the pain. But, I understand. If you ever need to talk...I'm here.

i'm in Texas, so we just head north. lol... we don't spend any time there, though. plenty to do in TX!
