    • Close Food Addiction

Raised in an overweight household, both of my parents use(d) food to anaesthetize themselves. I too, developed this habit. At the end of high school, I weighed 250 lbs. I started to trade self destructive habits for healthy ones, and have lost 70+ lbs. I've come a LONG way, but still have trouble with occasional binges. I'm starting to see a trend, and realize that this is a problem that is much bigger than food. I want to get better and better, and help others break the cycle!

    • Close Diets & Weight Maintenance

At my heaviest, I weighed 250 lbs. I had been overweight since childhood. When I was 20, I started training to be a Herbalist. Wow, what a transformation! The one thing you do every day that can change the way you live and die is EAT! So, by eating whole, natural foods, and drinking lots more pure water and herbal teas helped me to lose over 70 lbs with ease. I now weigh 10 lbs less than I did when I was 12. I'm a work in progress, 20 lbs to go. Binging is still a challenge!

      Dancing Somewhat Helpful
I love to dance. Free-style, and bellydance. Bellydancing is an awesome workout. My trouble, as always, is consistency!
Eating Healthier Foods Working / Worked
This is your best bet. The longer the food you eat stays in your body, the heavier and more congested you become. It's so flippin' logical! Food should nourish and energize you, and get out! The 'stick to yer ribs' mentality is what is keeping us fat. Eat whole, natural foods for a healthier, happier (and lighter) YOU! (Healthy eating is how I lost 70 lbs. Still working on the exercise bit:)

    • Open Healthy Eating

This is truly the only way to go! I've tried hundreds of diets, and the only thing that consistently worked and provided long-lasting results was a switch to healthy, whole foods!
