I am a retired sales rep. who spent the first 10 years after retiring as a full time volunteer for MADD after losing a 17 year old son to a repeat drunk driver in 1987. The odds are unbelievable but in 2001 we lost another son to a drunk driver. I am married to a wonderful man who is everything in the world to me. We had a total of seven children, his, miine and ours and now we have thirteen grandchildren who really give us much joy. I love to read, garden, do counted cross stitch, quilt .

Nancy, I often think of you and how little contact we have but when we do how profound it always is. I remember your message to me and realised how much you do understand about motivations and some people's bitterness. I am slowly learning to cope with these people and not get caught up in it all. Lots of love, Rose.
Thanks for your kindness. Tight Hugs. Love Lucille
Have a peaceful night. Love Lucille
Lots of love back to you Nancy. I truly understand and accept what you say. Warm hugs, Rose.
Nancy, am doing a bit better with the tough stuff in the work place. I pray now and will keep doing so and reminding myself that I have got this far and can go much farther. Love to hear from you. Rose
Never had a weight problem until my 40's and a hysterectomy and a major bout of depression which I still fight but finally have the right combination of meds. I am scheduled for a proximal bypass in Feb 2008 and I am so excited by the idea of being able to move and do many more things in life.
I have lost two sons and a little brother to drunk drivers. The first son was killed in 1987, my brother in 1990 and our other boy in 2001.
Dianosed with Vulvular Cancer in 1996, Had radical Hemi-Vuvectomy and have done well except for nerve damage.
Diagnosed with vulvular cancer of the bartholin gland in 1996. First doctor wanted to do radical vulvectomy but got a second op. and ended up with hemi-vulvectomy. No lymph node involvement so no radiation or chem. Have done well but panic everytimes I get an ingrown hair or bump "there" The nerve regeneration thing was a real pain(or sting) in the butt.
I used Chantix in September and October and was able to quit. I had already cut down from 2 pks a day to about 4-5 cigs a day. Fell off of wagon in late Dec and am starting from scratch again.
